Here is Prof. Kevin Balchin’s biography:

Dr. Kevin Balchin is currently Acting Head of the School of Language Studies and Applied Linguistics. He has been working at Canterbury Christ Church University since 2002 and before that taught English as a Foreign Language in Spain and Russia for seven years. He has in recent years been involved in several international projects, such as with the British Council in Bangladesh, as well as contributing to a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including the MA TESOL and BA English Language and Communication, to the CELTA programme and to short course programmes for English language teachers visiting from overseas. He is also a PhD supervisor.
