Summer school of Russian language and culture has been held at Udmurt State University (UdSU) since 1995.

Every year UdSU Summer school of Russian language and culture attracts motivated young people from all over the world who eager to discover the Russian culture, practice Russian with native speakers and along that know more about a multinational region of Udmurtia.

Here you can

• acquire or improve the Russian language skills
• get acquainted with Russian and Udmurt culture
• visit the unique open air museum «Ludorvay»
• visit the Motherland of the great Russian composer Petr Tchaikovsky
• discover a place where the world-famous weapon designer M.T.Kalashnikov lived and worked

Program Description

• Three-weeks Intensive course of the Russian language (5 ECTS)
• Social activities – excursions, folk master-classes (afternoon)
• Cultural awareness, phonetic classes and cinema club, crash course of the Udmurt language (included in the tuition fee)
• Additional optional sports and social activities
• Lunches and the farewell dinner

July 6, 2020 – July 26, 2020

Accommodation

Students are accommodated in comfortable double rooms of the student’s dormitory located in the walking distance of the University campus.

May 30, 2020 (Non EU citizens)

Fees

The Summer school fee (intensive language course (5 ECTS), culture awareness, phonetic classes and cinema club, crash course of Udmurt language, social activities, lunch breaks, farewell dinner, buddy assistance, application fee, visa support): 32000 RuR (approx.450 €)

Accommodation fee for the whole period: approx. 2 100 RuR (30 €)

Special offers for groups

• Organize a group of 3-5 students - get free intensive course of the Russian language and cultural activities.

• Organize a group of 6-8 students - get free intensive course of the Russian language, cultural activities, lunch, and accommodation.

How to apply

Fill out the DOCapplication form and send us with a scan copy of your passport.

• Sign the Contract.
• Pay a prepayment (40%).
• Wait for an invitation.
• Obtain your visa (if applicable).
• Arrive and join UdSU Summer School.
