2020專科部校內文藻盃英語比賽防疫須知

親愛的文藻盃選手們:

謝謝你們參與2020文藻盃校內英文比賽。這次比賽因遇到疫情影響，比賽過程需要做一些調整，以保護所有與會者。

參賽者皆須配戴口罩演出。我們了解戴口罩可能造成參賽者不易掌握說話清晰度和音量，所以參賽者可以確認麥克風並且試音。

我們也了解對於參賽者而言，演出時不配戴口罩會較感舒適。但是不配戴口罩且使用麥克風情況下，其他與會者可能擔心飛沫傳播。

建議你們練習時也配戴口罩，方能習慣比賽當天正式演出。若你們對比賽有任何問題，請與專科部黃苡蓁副主任聯絡。

Precautions against COVID 19: 2020 Wenzao Cup Intramural English Contests at the Junior College Division

Dear Wenzao Cup Contestants:

Thank you for participating in the 2020 Wenzao Cup Intramural English Contests. Some of the contest procedures are modified in order to cope with the pandemic and to protect oneself as well as others.

All contestants are required to wear masks while performing. We understand that wearing a mask may cause problems for one to speak with a strong and clear voice; therefore, every contestant can test a microphone to see if one can get one’s voice heard.

Additionally, we understand that the contestants may feel less overwhelmed when the masks are removed during the performance. However, others may be exposed to droplets, a main transmission route of COVID19 if a contestant speaks with a microphone without wearing a mask.

We recommend that you should wear masks while rehearsing, which helps you get used to the ways of controlling one’s vocals in the competition. Please contact the Deputy Chair, I-Chen Huang if you have any questions.
