2020文藻盃大專組全國英語競賽-賽前提醒

Dear all,

Warming greetings from Department of English at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages! Thank you for registering for our annual event.

We would like to update you on changes of the regulations about this contest.

1.      In order to follow the SOP of the precaution against COVID-19, Department of English decides to start registration at 12.00 PM (instead of 12.30 PM) at the venue, and the section for registration will be first closed at 12.40 PM so that those who complete their registration can draw lots to decide the order of their presentation. For those who haven’t finished registration by 12.40 PM, Department of English will draw lots for them.  

2.      In order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 inflection, Department of English decides to allow contestants and their supervisors (one contestant and one supervisor or a group of contestants and its supervisor) to enter the venue. If contestants have other companions, we will ask them to stay in another venue, and we need to ask them to strictly follow the previously announced precautionary measures as well.

3.      In order to monitor the flow of people and guarantee the quality of the event, we strongly suggest that contestants should not leave the venue during the contest, unless they need to go to the restroom or get some water. Again we would like to remind you that no food is allowed in the venue.

Department of English apologizes for any inconveniences caused. Please do understand that we would like to do our best to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all the participants at our annual event. We appreciate your interest and participation in this event and thank you for your cooperation.

在此獻上文藻外語大學英國語文系真摯的問候！感謝您報名我們的這個年度競賽。 我們在此傳達競賽相關的更新規定。

1.為了嚴格執行對新冠肺炎的防疫措施，英國語文系決定提前比賽的報到起始時間。報到時間將於12:00 PM（而不是12.30 PM）開始，且將在12.40 PM讓完成報名的參賽者進行次序抽籤。 尚未完成報到者，由文藻英國語文系代為抽籤。

2.為了降低新冠肺炎的感染風險，英國語文系決定只允許參賽者及其指導老師（一名參賽者和一名指導老師或一組參賽者及其指導老師）進入比賽會場。如果參賽者還有其他同伴，我們將要求他們在另一個地點休息等待，我們也須他們嚴格遵守先前宣布的防疫措施。

3.為了掌控人員流量並確保活動的品質，英國語文系強烈建議與會者在比賽期間，不要離開場地，除非與會者需要使用洗手間或外出喝水。再次提醒您，會場內不得飲食。
