The Student Association for 5-Y Junior College of the English Department received the Excellence Award at the awards ceremony on the 31^st of March. This recognition from the Ministry of Education has boosted students’ confidence, reaffirmed the importance of student associations and encouraged development in various student clubs and organizations.

Student participation in associations and clubs is an indispensable part to university social responsibility. Students can cultivate their self-reliance through organizing activities and events, and develop further in their communication and leadership skills. 

英國語文系專科部學會於3月31日（星期四）出席參加教育部舉辦「111年全國大專校院學生社團評選暨觀摩活動頒獎典禮」，獲頒「特優」之殊榮。此對於學生參與社團經營，是一極大的肯定與支持，更能提升大專校院學生參與課外活動意願，並引導各大專校院強化對於學生社團活動的重視。

社團活動是落實大學社會責任不可或缺的一環，期許學生們能透過社團活動培養社會參與的自主能力，並從中習得溝通技巧與組織領導的才能。
