Conserving Energy, Living Sustainably

On December 17, the 2025 English Drama Contest was held in Gongjian Hall (K1). Production teams from third- and fourth-year Junior College classes presented a series of engaging drama performances, showcasing their creativity and teamwork. Under the contest theme “Conserving Energy, Living Sustainably,” students explored topics such as energy conservation, sustainable living, and environmental responsibility through vivid characters and meaningful stories. The performances highlighted both students’ language and acting skills, while encouraging awareness of how everyday choices can support a more sustainable future.

We extend our sincere congratulations to all participating classes and award winners. Each team’s enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication truly lit up the stage at K1, making the event a memorable experience for everyone involved. Special thanks are also extended to our three judges—Professor Elena Yakovleva, Professor Yi-Chi Liu, and Professor Lori Wang—for their professional and thoughtful evaluations. Their support played an essential role in encouraging students to continue contributing to departmental activities such as drama and theatrical performances. Last but not least, the Department would like to express its heartfelt appreciation to the organizing committee, the English Association of Junior College, whose dedication and coordination ensured the smooth execution of the event.
