‧ We will employ professors of cross-culture studies, journalism, mass communication, translation, economical trade, and writing, to teach in our school. ‧ Since 1999, students have been attending different classes based on English Level test of our department. ‧ Since 1999 college students of senior year (the 4-5th. year) were able to learn in small class. ‧ Since 2000, students were separated into different listening classes in accordance with their Level Test (It is mainly held student from grade 1 to grade 3 ) ‧ Since 2001 students attended speaking classes with rankings based on Level Test they took (from grade 1 to grade 3 ). |

1.Teachers’specialties, teaching, and research have been regulated since 1998. 2.Study groups were established in 1998 to proposed study plans. 3.Teachers in English department were supposed to present 3 papers in total every year. 4.We Purchase teaching research database of all kinds in order to enhance teaching and encourage research- publishing. 5.We invite professional translators to form translation- teaching groups. 6.We purchase microfilm duplicators and microfilms. 7.We enhance cross-library loans services. 8.We award teachers who publish papers on international or national journals or periodicals. 9.Teachers hosting NSC Projects will be granted flexible arrangement on classes such as concentration of office hours or arrangement of one-day leave in a week. 10.We hold Applied English Research Conference regularly. |

Evaluations on learning effectives- 1.Have English Proficiency Test cooperated with Taipei Language Center. (subjects from 2 and 4-Year Colleges students; The test is optional for students from 4-Year College of Division of Continuing Education.) 2.Design evaluation methods for English speaking ability. 3.Set up benchmarks in our department by English proficiency test. |
